We had a lovely two-night stay while exploring the charming town nearby. the first-class accommodations in this beautifully restored old building truly transport you back in time, with stunning period features and elegant furniture. the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Enjoying a generous breakfast on the balcony each morning was a highlight, and the location made it easy to stroll to local shops and restaurants.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Vacy Hall is steeped in history and is probably uniqie as a guesthouse. The rooms are very large and decor is in keeping with the historic grandness of the place.

Classic style of the house
The whole house was very damp including the robes and linen. Salt in the shaker so damp it would not come out. Poor security on the windows

We found the ambience totally in keeping with the grounds. The rooms, especially, Fire Place suites were ideal. Great location and handy to amenities, restaurants, etc..
It was quite humid, but a fan was provided. Should advise overseas visitors not familiar at that time of year ...

It was a lovely setting and sitting by the fire in the communal lounge was lovely.
Far to noisy for a quiet peaceful stay. My room was near the kitchen and if not a early riser you became one.

Its excellent location allows for easy walking access to downtown for dining and drinks.
Not soundproof at all. Bed quality needs improvement.

The botanical treasures in the historic gardens felt like exploring a secret jungle. the centralized location made shopping and dining a breeze. Free parking saved me from circling the block.
I love feeling like I'm in grandma's house, but the musty smell pushed it a bit too far.
